Standard 1: Mission, Vision, and Improvement
Collaboratively lead, design, and implement a school's mission and vision that promotes the success and well-being of all students and adults. Understanding and leading continuous improvement processes, evaluation, design, and implementation.
Standard 3: Equity, Inclusiveness, and Cultural Responsiveness
Develop and maintain a supportive, equitable, responsive, and inclusive school culture. Evaluating and advocating for equitable access to resources, opportunities, and instructional practices.
Standard 5: Community and External Leadership
Engage families, community members, partners, and other constituencies for the benefit of school improvement and student development.
Standard 7: Policy, Governance, and Advocacy
Advocate for the needs of the school within the larger organizational and policy context. Engage in professional learning that promotes reflection, cultural responsiveness, distributed leadership, and digital literacy.
Standard 2: Ethics and Professional Norms
Demonstrate the capacity to promote the success of every student by advocating for ethical decisions and cultivating professional norms (e.g., fairness, integrity, transparency, trust, collaboration, lifelong learning), Model ethical behavior and foster it in others.
Standard 4: Learning and Instruction
Demonstrate the capacity to evaluate, develop, and implement coherent systems for curriculum, instruction, and assessment that support student learning and well-being. Appropriately and ethically use data to drive decisions.
Standard 6: Operations and Management
Improve management, communication, and technology systems to support student success and well-being. Developing and implementing a data-informed school resourcing plan.
