Change in College and Professional Growth Expense Reimbursements

New contract language (Certified & Support Staff) was added effective July 1, 2019 to financially support individuals in furthering their advancement and professional growth.  In order to qualify and seek reimbursement the employee must follow the College Course Pre-Approval and Reimbursement Process which includes meeting the following conditions:

A.  The college classes or training are pre-approved by the immediate supervisor and superintendent.

B.  The college classes or training will benefit the employee in their current or future role with MAISD as determined by administration.

C.  Once approved, the employee must provide written verification of completion and/or receipt of at least a 3.0 grade in the class.
