Trip Request
Student safety is our top priority. Do not use a cell phone to make or receive calls or texts while driving a school vehicle. Trip requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. Once approved by your supervisor, the Transportation Department will schedule your trip. To drive a school van, you must complete required paperwork, provide a copy of your driver’s license and valid insurance for a driver record check, and complete a drug screen at a MAISD‑contracted facility. Approved drivers are subject to quarterly random drug and alcohol testing.
