Montcalm Area Intermediate School District supports the use of research-tested instructional practices with every child, in every classroom, every day. School and district excellence begins with a commitment from district leaders and leadership teams to establish clear values, build capacity, invest in adult learning, implement evidence-based practices, utilize research-supported curricular resources, and improve student outcomes. Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators ( MAISA) has developed resources grounded in research that serve as guidance for strengthening instruction and improve student learning. MAISD supports the integration of these essential instructional practices into every classroom, every day, for every child, including through targeted literacy coaching using Coaching Essentials.
