Seiter Education Center

Seiter Education Center is a specialized educational center serving students with significant disabilities from local school districts throughout Montcalm County. Our school provides individualized educational programming, specialized supports, and related services for students whose needs require a more specialized learning environment.

Students attend Seiter Education Center through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. Placement decisions are made collaboratively by the student’s family, the student’s resident district, and Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD). The most important goal is identifying the educational environment and supports that will best meet the unique needs of each student.

At Seiter Education Center, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is valued, supported, and given opportunities to learn, grow, and reach their individual potential.

I hope you have enjoyed a fun-filled summer with family and friends. We are excited to welcome back our students and families and look forward to a wonderful year at Seiter Education Center.

My name is Luis Gomez. I am honored to serve as the new Principal of Seiter Education Center and an MAISD Special Education Supervisor. I am excited to partner with our students, families, and staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can grow and succeed.

Thank you for your partnership and trust. It is a privilege to work alongside your family, and I look forward to getting to know each of you while watching our students learn, grow, and thrive throughout the school year.

Seiter Education Center Principal
