Business

The Business Program at the MACC is an educational initiative designed to prepare students for future success in the business world. The program equips students with essential skills and knowledge related to various aspects of business, such as entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and management.

The focus is on real-world experiences and applications that provide students with practical insights. Through critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, the business program empowers students to make informed career choices, pursue higher education, and be prepared to enter the workforce with a competitive edge. 

With this program, you will be:

*  Learning technical skills including gathering, processing, and analyzing data in a hands-on on fun and interactive way.

* Focusing on Project based learning, which will help you to work effectively as a team while learning to be a leader at the same time.

* Honing the ability to think strategically and identify market opportunities while running  the school store.

Joining the business program at the Montcalm Area Career Center presents an opportunity for 11th and 12th-grade students to cultivate essential skills and real-world experience crucial for success in today's dynamic workforce. With a curriculum tailored to meet industry demands, students gain hands-on experience in areas such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and business management.

Through engaging projects, internships, and mentorship opportunities, students develop a deep understanding of business principles while honing their problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.  Mrs. Rolston equips students with the tools they need to excel in college and beyond, setting them on a path towards rewarding careers in the ever-evolving world of business.
