Montcalm Area ISD and the  local school districts in Montcalm County are diligently working to provide food programs and learning resources for our students, parents, and communities.   We have provided information here that may be helpful during the extended time of our school closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please check back to this site often as we continue to update the resources and information found here.

Carson City - Crystal Area Schools

On April 7, school officials will have a pack of 7 meals available for students 18 and under.  Meals will be delivered on a bus route delivery.  For students who do not ride the bus, there will be one central location pick up spot at the grades 4-12 building in Carson City.  Bus delivery starts around 10:00 AM.  For students coming to the pick up location, pick up hours are 10:00 AM to Noon.  Deadline to order meals is April 4 at midnight. Central Montcalm Public Schools

Central Montcalm Public Schools understands the important role the district plays in providing daily nutrition to our students. We take pride in our ability to provide free nutritious meals during this unanticipated school closure and we have the following plan in place:

Grab and Go breakfast and lunch meals will be available at the Upper Elementary at the kitchen which is door #10
*Meals available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
*Free to anyone 18 and under.
*Students do not need to be present for pick-up of meals.
*You may pick up meals for families with no transportation.
*You may pick up both breakfast and lunch at the same time.

*If you cannot get to our location and you need meals delivered to you, email with your address and the number of meals needed.  

We will provide updates if there are changes to this plan.  For preparation purposes, if you will be taking advantage of this opportunity we are asking families to sign up using this link:

Greenville Public Schools

NOTE:  There has been a change to the meal distribution plan.  Distribution will take place at Greenville High School only.  There will no longer be distribution at Cedar Crest or Lincoln Heights.

Lakeview Community Schools

In order to support our surrounding community, we have outlined the following schedule to offer breakfast and lunch to children ages 18 and under. Starting Tuesday, March 24, we will be running several satellite locations where families can pick up meals. The meals will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays (4/3, 4/7, and 4/10) and will follow the schedule below:

Meals provided on Tuesday will cover breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Meals provided on Friday  will cover breakfast and lunch on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday
Free to anyone 18 and under.
Students do not need to be present for pick-up of meals.
You may pick up meals for families with no transportation.
You may pick up both breakfast and lunch at the same time.

Montabella Community Schools

Listed below are the delivery times for the meals throughout the Montabella community. The times are based on the number of families that indicated they would pick up meals at that location along with the routes that were established. If you have not filled out the survey and would like the meals, please do so through the following link.  This will allow us to ensure that we have enough meals at each location for everyone.

Tri County Area Schools

Tri County Area Schools will begin distribution of “Grab & Go” meals for all children 18 years old and younger, beginning Monday, March 16.  Meals will be available through delivery via our bus route system and by pickup at selected building locations. This free service is for any child 18 years old or younger in the Tri County area, including homeschool programs, charter school students, private schools, and online school students.

Meals (including milk) will be available for pickup and delivery on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, beginning March 16 through April 3, following the schedule below:

Monday:  Meals for Monday & Tuesday

Wednesday:  Meals for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Breakfast and Lunch)

Friday:  Meals for Saturday and Sunday (Breakfast and Lunch)

Locations & Times for Building Pick Up Monday/Wednesday/Friday:

Tri County High School:  10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

MacNaughton Elementary: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Sand Lake Elementary: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Tri County Transportation will be running their regular elementary routes to deliver meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Multiple days of meals will be delivered on these routes, per the schedule above. The buses will depart at approximately 10:00 AM.  Stops will be approximately 3 hours later than normal elementary route times, and 4 hours later than the normal HS/MS route times. We will be stopping at all HS/MS stops, so typical route times may be delayed slightly.  Parents and students are welcome to take a “grab & go” meal bag for each child in the home 18 years old or younger from the bus.

Vestaburg Community School

We will be working with families to provide food for those that are in need during the school closure. We realize that for some, breakfast and lunch at school are vital to many of our children. Thus, we will be delivering food to those that request it.  Anyone 18 and under qualify for the program. You do not need to be a student at Vestaburg.  Every person will receive supplies for 2 meals a day for the full week.  Deliveries will take place on Mondays between Noon and 3:00 PM.   Someone must be present at the time of the delivery.  All requests must be submitted using the link below by the end of each week for the following Monday delivery.…/10R5vGPe7PCVSm_GoUntnfE2Wuko…/edit
