MAISD has buses housed at local districts all around Montcalm County; Tri County, Lakeview, Montabella, Vestaburg, Central Montcalm, Carson City, and Seiter Center in Greenville.

MAISD buses cover some 1,000 square miles, consuming over 62,000 gallons of diesel.

We have 22 am/pm routes and 16 mid-day routes, transporting some 340 students to 21 different locations:

  We have 50 certified drivers who specialize in Special Education and are trained extensively to transport special needs students.

In the 2007-2008 school year, MAISD buses traveled 678, 343 miles and consumed 80,930 gallons of fuel.  In September, MAISD transportation department received a perfect score from Michigan State Police during annual inspection of the 34 bus fleet – for the fifth year!
