MDE SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT FRAMEWORK Overview The School Improvement Framework and its Rubrics are designed to help all school personnel, both professional and non-professional engage in serious and deep conversation about their schools, its curriculum, and its policies and practices as they relate to student achievement. There are five levels of School Improvement conversations: -
Awareness of School Improvement Framework (SIF) and Rubrics -
Understanding of School Improvement Framework (SIF) and Rubrics -
Application of School Improvement Framework (SIF) and Rubrics to school/building programs and practices. -
Analysis of school/building programs and practices using School Improvement Framework (SIF) and Rubrics -
Development of school/building School Improvement Plan, using School Improvement Framework (SIF) and Rubrics.
