Notice to Bidders

The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District, MAISD, entered into a three year contract for primary telecommunications and Internet and Connectivity services beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2011. 

MAISD is accepting bids for additional telecommunications, Internet and Connectivity, and web hosting services not included in the above mentioned three year contract based on the separate bid documentation found below. 

Unless otherwise stated, this bid is for monthly services or annual services beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011. 

MAISD will consider multi-year contracts with a term less than or equal to 5 years.

MAISD Board of Education rules regarding bidding:
Sealed bids are required for bids over $20,998 including building construction, renovation, and repair. 
Sealed bids are required for bids over $20,998 including supplies, materials, and equipment. 
Bids for services are assumed to be included in the category with supplies, materials, and equipment.
Sealed bids are not required for tariffed, month-to-month, or other services costing less than the above thresholds.  Unsealed bids may be hand-delivered, faxed, or e-mailed to the contact listed below.

All bids must be received by February 1, 2010 at Noon EST.
Bids will be opened and recorded at a public meeting held at 2:00pm on February 1, 2010.
Winning bids for services requiring board approval will be announced on February 12, 2010.

The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District Board of Education reserves the right to reject, in full or in part, any and all bids.
