STATISTICS:
The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is one of 57 intermediate districts in Michigan. The Montcalm Area ISD serves 7 local public school districts enrolling 14,121 students as well as 11 private/parochial/denominational schools enrolling 879 students. The Montcalm Area ISD operates four facilities serving students in the areas of special education, general education, and career technical education. Facilities include the Seiter Educational Center in Greenville, the Montcalm Area Career Center in Sidney, and HO Steele Education Center in Fenwick.  There are approximately 225 people employed by the MAISD on a regular or part-time basis at the MAISD.

FUNDING:
MAISD receives funding through federal and state grants, federal and state aid and local millage in special education, general education, and vocational education.  All funds that are received or spent are divided into three categories:  Special Education, General Education, and Career Technical Education.
